As a Systems Engineer at Biocchi Aeronautics, you will play a pivotal role in the development, integration, and verification of complex systems for our diverse range of services, including surveying and security. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and allocate complex systems level requirements for our autonomous UAV drone services.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review, document, and enhance system level operational concepts and mission statements.

  • Engage in cutting-edge research and development of complex systems, designs, and architectures for our UAV drone services.

  • Provide support to software development activities, ensuring seamless integration with hardware components.

  • Prepare and review comprehensive documentation for systems designs and architectures, adhering to established development processes and procedures.

  • Perform system and product integration, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.

  • Verify and validate aspects of systems designs to ensure compliance with functional specifications and customer requirements.

  • Contribute to various specialty-engineering tasks, such as Reliability, Maintainability & Availability analysis, Integrated Logistics Support, Failure Analysis, and Safety Engineering for complex systems.

  • Offer on-site operations and sustainment support at customer locations as needed.

  • Assist in causal analysis and resolution activities to enhance system performance and reliability.

  • Play a key role in proposal development activities, including text creation, cost estimation, and presentation preparation. 

Key Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

  • 1+ years of experience in avionics or electronic control related development, with familiarity in avionics interfaces.

  • Proficiency in technical writing for creating comprehensive engineering documentation.

  • Experience in integration and verification testing of electronic equipment, including hardware/software.

  • Familiarity with flight-critical fly-by-wire Flight Controls, Actuators, Air Data Systems, Pilot Inceptors, Inertial Sensors, and/or Autopilot systems.

  • Strong expertise in requirements management and development.

  • Working knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.

  • Experience with Requirements Management tools and Configuration Management tools.

  • Ability to develop formal verification planning and procedures.
